At the end of each wearing season, you are invited to send your Cashmere possum and Merino possum pieces to the CASHMERE SPA. Here, your favorite items will be pampered, revitalized, and rejuvenated. After the tailored treatments, your items will be returned to you in a condition as close to their original state as possible.
What are the steps in the pampering treatment of your submitted favorite pieces?
When your knitwear arrives at the Cashmere Spa, it is inspected to determine what needs to be done.
Your knitwear is then placed in cooled quarantine for two weeks to kill bacteria and protect our workers.
Next, any holes, dropped stitches, or other damages are repaired by our specially trained staff.
Your knitwear is gently shaved to remove pilling, making the wool look as good as new.
The steaming process kills bacteria that the knitwear may have picked up. This ensures that you are protected when your item returns.
